New Online Guide! The Internet Guide to Arts Programs in the USA

The EI Group is pleased to introduce the 2007 Internet Guide to the Arts in the USA. This exclusively online guide will compile complete, authoritative and current information available on undergraduate and graduate arts programs including fine arts, visual arts, culinary arts, design, music, and much more.

New Website for Secondary Schools-SecondarySchoolsUSA.com

March 2005

EI has launched an exclusive and customized website promoting academically focused private and public secondary schools for domestic and international student recruitment. The new website is SecondarySchoolsUSA.com.

The new site targets American students and their parents who are searching for academically focused secondary schools to send their children to or because they are moving. The school database will include client profiles and a supplemental list searchable by public / private; boarding / day; and state. The resources section will link to articles and relevant online resources for students and parents. Articles will include the SSAT and ISEE test prep, finding and comparing secondary schools, admissions and applying to secondary school, and financial aid.

The featured profiles will include information on the school's curriculum, admission requirements, facilities and location. A student profile will also be included along with the school's extracurricular programs and college placement rate.

EI's international website for US schools, CollegesintheUSA.com, will also be used to attract international students and parents who are interested in sending their children to high school in the USA. From the CollegesintheUSA.com site, there will also a dedicated section on going to secondary school in the USA. The featured secondary school clients will appear on this site along with additional resources on going to high school in the USA.

Building on the success of CampusStarter.com and SchoolsinCanada.com, EI has updated the look, functionality and integration of these two sites creating a more comprehensive and informative resource for students while increasing the value to our clients!

In addition to logging onto www.CampusStarter.com or www.SchoolsinCanada.com directly, students can easily access both sites now with a common navigation system. Students only need to log onto one site to access a wealth of career resources and get connected with profiled institutions.

Our new sites provide students with everything they need to know about choosing a career and finding the right school for them. Plus, many new features have been added:

  • Students can use the Compare Schools feature to compare key facts such as tuition and acceptance rate on up to three profiled schools at a time

GradSource.com Goes Live!

February 2002

GradSource.com - the web site for graduate students - is launched, providing not only a companion web site to EI's Grad Source magazine, but also a new portal to EI's graduate programs. The site is a comprehensive resource for both US and Canadian students who are interested in pursuing grad studies and their careers after graduation.

It contains a searchable database of the same articles published in the magazine and more. The site is regularly updated with timely articles on student issues like preparing for the GRE, picking a grad school, scholarships and financial aid, and career planning.

The site also includes a searchable database of more than 1,000 grad schools and 300 detailed profiles on grad programs on business, engineering, teaching, science, fine arts and health. Visitors to the site can register to receive regular e-newsletters on grad studies and access customized features such as the Resume Builder.

NCATE to Co-pulish EI's Guide to Teaching

September 2001

EI will be publishing the 2002 edition of it's Guide to Undergraduate & Graduate Teaching and Education Programs with the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education(NCATE).

NCATE is the profession's mechanism to help establish high quality teacher preparation. Through the process of professional accreditation of schools, colleges and departments of education, NCATE works to make a difference in the quality of teaching and teacher preparation today, tomorrow, and for the next century.

This guide will feature in-depth profiles of teacher education programs for potential undergraduate and graduate students. As a companion to the print guide, the program profiles will be featured on EI's comprehensive school websites, SchoolsintheUSA.com for undergraduate programs, and GradEducation.com for graduate programs.

The updated editon of this guide will be available for January 2002.

Descubra Canada

New International Magazine for Mexican Students

June 2001

Building on the success of the EI - CECN co-published guides, we have launched an annual specialty magazine called Descruba Canada. This full colour, glossy magazine is aimed at Mexicans who are interested in visiting Canada for education and travel. The magazine highlights educational opportunities in Canada that can be combined with travel tours and visits to major attractions and events.

The magazine covers a range of articles according to three themes: Study in Canada, Live in Canada and Enjoy Canada. The editorial style of the features involves interviews with students and professionals from across the country. The features are combined with other content providing facts and stats on Canada. All editorial in the magazine is published in Spanish.

Descruba Canada will be distributed free-of-charge at the CEC Mexico student fairs in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterey being held in February 2002. Attendance at CECN Fairs last February grew again from the previous year: the Monterrey Fair had 5,460 visitors; the Mexico City Fair had 8,800 visitors; and Guadalajara had just over 7,500 visitors.

New Magazines for International Students

April 2000

Educational institutions in the US can now enhance their international recruitment efforts by taking advantage of EI Academic's new publication format. EI Academic's popular International Guide to English Programs in the USA and International Guide to 4-Year Colleges in the USA are now available in magazine format. Participating educational institutions will make their recruiting information more widely available to counselors, education advisors and students worldwide who will use this information to learn about educational opportunities in the USA and decide which programs best meet their needs.

The International Guide to English Programs in the USA and International Guide to 4-Year Colleges in the USA magazines are distributed around the globe to hundreds of educational centers, including USIS/Educational Advising Centers and Fulbright Commissions, Institute for International Education offices, international high schools and ESL centers.

EI Academic's targeted publications, audience-appropriate format and information, and international distribution allow educational institutions to easily extend the reach of their promotional materials to international markets.

New Guide to Executive Business Programs

Guide to EMBA & Development Programs in the USA

Building on the success of EI's extensive series of business publications, the Guide to Executive MBA & Development Programs in the USA has been launched.

Catering to the corporate community and working professional, this guide will exclusively feature EMBA and executive development programs available at postsecondary institutions. The guide will provide in-depth two page profiles of EMBA and general management development programs, along with one page features of specialized executive development programs.

As a companion to the print guide, the EMBA and executive development profiles will be featured on EI's comprehensive business website, GraduateBusiness.com. Along with the profiles of masters and doctoral programs in the US and Canada, professionals will be able to search for EMBA and development programs.

The guide is being published in cooperation with the Executive MBA Council. The Council fosters excellence and innovation in EMBA programs in a globally competitive enviroment, and supports academic and program administrators in serving the educational needs of the diverse group of professionals who comprise its student population.

The inaugural edition of this guide will be available for January 2002.
