The SchoolNet Multimedia Learnware and Public Access Applications Program is an initiative of Industry Canada’s SchoolNet. Industry Canada, through CANARIE Inc. (Canada’s Advanced Internet Development Organization), and successful partners will establish joint funds to finance the production of high-quality commercial products for learning and public access on the Information Highway. StudentCounsellor.com’s highly interactive service walks students through a searchable database of 20,000 Canadian programs to help them discover and choose from the many education opportunities available to them. This is the largest and most detailed database of academic programs in Canada. Participating high schools across the country register to provide the Student Counsellor.com services to their students. Students use this fast and easy customized matching service to set personal education goals, determine postsecondary entrance requirements and strategically plan their high school education. |
